Puppies for Breakfast is a morning dog festival that works to bring everything “dog” to one place for a few hours. Because of covid, the event had to be postponed twice in 2020, but WE’RE BACK!
Houston is a huge city with so much to offer for our furry friends and from the creative mind of Hector Garcia with Neue Creative and Modular Dog, this festival provides a time for your dog to come play, surrounded by many of Houston’s dog industry vendors, businesses, and creatives. Big thank you to our host East River and sponsors: OSO Coffee Co, Sit Means Sit Dog Training, Camp Bow Wow, Rummy’s Beach Club, Natural Pawz, and Meadowlake Pet Resort.
In addition, breakfast type food will be provided by some of Houston’s best food trucks and this year we’ll have a new Vodka lounge hosted by Frankly Organic Vodka. All attendees over 21 yrs will receive a coupon good for 3 complimentary drinks from the Frankly lounge.
The event is FREE to the public and all we ask is that every attendee make a MINIMUM $5 DONATION to help local dog rescue (TBA).
Puppies for Breakfast will be celebrating 1o yrs of being one of the biggest and best dog festivals in the city. We’re excited to be partnering with EAST RIVER for 2021 to bring this huge dog party back to Houston.
This year’s venue is 40,000+ sqft of green space within the massive East River acreage along the bayou and Jensen drive. With 40+ vendors, artists, and makers, a 2500 sq/ft dog play area, the world’s largest pinata, music by DJ Dayta, and food from some of Houston’s best food trucks, this will be the largest dog party of the year!
The Puppies for Breakfast Costume Contest becomes center stage, halfway through the event and the top three winners walk away with a bag full of prizes and bragging rights. This year we will be awarding First place with a special award and title as “PFB Costume of the Year”. More details to come.
